The Dark Avengers

This is a fictional novel written in the street language of outback Australia. Set in the Northern Territory in the late 20th Century prior to the oncoming curse of political correctness. Work Health and Safety was also rearing its ugly head to condemn Australian industries to world irrelevance.

This was the last throes of a golden era.

Aboriginals were regarded as a people of little consequence to the majority of Australians. Apart from gracing the sporting fields, in which they excelled, they had lost their way in society. Surviving for thousands of years with pride and dignity in this great land, now lowered to second-class citizens.

Federal politicians in Canberra doled out guilt money in the hope it would fix the Aboriginal ailments of health and unemployment, all to no avail. What they really needed was a strong leader to raise their profile on the political agenda.

A once-in-a-generation man emerged from the poverty of an obscure community to rouse modern Australia to the plight of his people, albeit through terror and bloodshed.

The Dark voice

In the sequel to The Dark Avengers, the Aboriginal people grapple with their identity, torn between modern society and fading cultural heritage. Amidst this struggle, an Islamic jihadist from Ambon Island sees an opportunity to create Muslim warriors in Australia, aiming to transform the nation’s Christian ideology to Sharia Law.

A terrorist attack rocks Parliament House in Darwin, claiming the lives of politicians. The mastermind behind it all is Ali Munkatari, an Aboriginal activist. Evading capture during the nationwide manhunt, he infiltrates mainstream society and gets elected to Parliament. As the youngest Aboriginal in politics, his charisma captivates the nation, and he becomes a powerful figure.

In this second book of the trilogy, prepare for a thrilling journey where loyalties are tested, cultures collide, and the fate of a nation hangs in the balance.
